ABOUT FOREIGN POLICY
Foreign Policy: The Performer Persona of SEIBEATS
Foreign Policy is the rapper/performer alias of SEIBEATS, who is primarily known as a music producer.
Originally, Foreign Policy was a group formed by SEIBEATS along with D-Law and Eddie Brown. However, as the two collaborators moved on to pursue their own individual paths, the group could no longer be sustained. Since then, SEIBEATS hasn't actively pursued a career as a rapper, but he has continued to rap privately, maintaining his passion for the craft.
SEIBEATS released a studio album under his own name, featuring tracks that highlight his own rapping. This led him to revive the name Foreign Policy to represent himself as a rapper.
Blending 90s Hip-Hop Influence with Modern Production Vision
His broad musical background, combined with a deep passion for 90s hip-hop, strongly influences his rap style and delivery.
Drawing inspiration from legendary East Coast lyricists and boom bap production, Foreign Policy’s verses often blend introspective themes with gritty realism, layered over soulful, sample-driven beats.
Crafting Vision: Where Production Meets the Mic
As both a producer and rapper, SEIBEATS brings a unique dual perspective to his music. This synergy allows him to craft tracks with a cohesive vision—balancing lyrical content, musicality, and emotional tone with precision.
Foreign Policy isn’t just a side project; it’s an extension of SEIBEATS' creative identity. Through this alias, he explores storytelling, personal reflection, and social commentary, aiming to deliver authenticity in every bar.
With new releases on the horizon, Foreign Policy continues to evolve—bridging classic hip-hop roots with a modern sensibility.
